Happy Holidays to all my Stitching Friends!

I am wrapping gifts and baking cookies at the moment but really wanted to wish you all Happy Holidays and a safe Happy New Year!  Finally the post office is slowing down from the holidays so I can get back to my stitching.  I have been working from 7 am to 6 pm 6 days a week for the past two weeks.  I have been delivering at least 100 packages a day besides the mail.  It has been crazy there!
At the moment I am on my 5th batch of cookies which is Lemon-Coconut Cream Drops

The next batch is Chocolate-Covered Cherry Cookies using real Chocolate covered cherries

I will be having my traditional Christmas party tomorrow and my whole family will be here.  I do like making cookie platters for my family to take home :)

Cannot Believe It Is Winter!!!!

New Kitten First Caught

It is in the 60 here in Rhode Island!  Cannot believe it is almost Christmas and the weather is just beautiful.  Most of my Christmas shopping is done and I have most of my decorating done.  Now the start of baking my cookies.
Stitching news?  NaDa! Working at the post office is keeping me from that.  I am working 6 days a week from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.  When I get home I am so tired.  The stitching will have to wait until after Christmas unless I have a easy day which does not look promising.

Cat Rescuing?  I have caught another kitten which I have in a taming cage but since he is so easy to train, I do allow him out for play everyday.  Here is a couple of pics of the new feral/tamed kitten.

REALLY!! Frog Visit!!!

Really !  I am now frogging quite a few stitches from Booville.  Stoney Creek with their using the same symbols but two colors meaning to different colors! Will be back with an update hopefully tomorrow :)

Has it Been That Long!!!

WoW it has been a few weeks since I posted.  I have not been stitching the past 3 weeks.  After catching the flu I lost my mojo.  But, I have decided to stitch on Witches of Booville tonight while watching the X-Factor.  I am wishing all of you a very Happy Thanksgiving! Be Safe.

I am praying that all of you that was in the path of Sandy are OK!  We did not get hit as hard as those near the water.  We had some wind gusts up to 50 miles an hour but not many.  We never even lost our power.  Looking at the pictures on the news what devastation!!
