Not A Good Week!

Not sure if you know but my kittie Milo was diagnosed with severe diabetes two weeks ago.  He has been on insulin and a strict diet but this week was not a good week!  His sugar level has been all over the place so not alot of stitching for me this week.  I did do a little but not worth posting a pic yet.  Hope everyone is having a great week and will post some pics soon.

Awww, sorry to hear about Milo... my coworker's kitty was just diagnosed with diabetes a little bit ago too. It took a little bit, but they've got his sugars under control now... Hang in there :)

I know all too well how awful it is when the furbabies aren't feeling well. Hope your Milo is feeling better soon and you get some stitching time in as well.

Sorry about Milo! It's so heartbreaking when our pets hurt because they don't understand why they don't feel well. I hope things get straightened out very soon. Hang in there!

Oh yes, and great progress on Fred and the cocker spaniels!! Wow! HOW do you count stitches like that?! I have counted hours that I have put into projects, but actual stitches! I'm impressed! Love your blog!

Thanks everyone for your kind thoughts! I am waiting right now to hear from my vet to see how his blood is now. Poor Milo I know he feels like a pincushion : (

Hi Lana
I have always counted my stitches as I mark them off! It is something I have to do! Probably my ocd lol! Thanks so much! Each square on the pattern is 100 stitches so I go from there in counting : )

Hi Lana,
Not sure why, but I need to know how much stitches I have managed to stitch per sitting. I think it makes me feel I have acomplished more but not sure. I have always counted my stitches since I started stitching. I make a copy and color the blocks as I stitch. Each day I change the color marker which helps me to know how many stitches I have done in a day : )
