You can see I got the ear done and now working on the quilts.

Witching Hour

Progress as of August 27th 2013

I have been stitching a lot the past few days.

I do have some other non-stitchy things going on also.  My daughter Ashli is back at Bryant University Sept 2nd for her second year of  her four years to get her Bachelors Degree and then on to Med School and then 2 yrs for her Masters then 5 yrs for her  Psychology PHD Degree.  Hmmm, lets see thats 10 more years, Oh My Gosh!!!

My husband went to his Mom's to check on here pool and found a tiny snapper turtle in it.  He brought it to our house and my daughter and her boyfriend decided to adopt it until it was old enough to be released.  This snapper is so tiny!  My daughter knows alot about turtles since she owns two.  So they have a new addition for the time being and his name is Koopa.  Here is a pic of Koopa.
Well, I do need to show you a pic of a new visitor to my bird feeder!  Really do not want to see this visitor again.
Pedigree Falcon

Swooped right in to my birdfeeder to take a bird!  Luckily, all my birds had another day to eat at my feeders :)

Of course, I need to show a pic of my sweeties!!!

WOW!!! The Summer is Passing By So Fast!!!

I cannot believe how fast the summer is going!  It feels like it was just yesterday we opened our pool!  We opened it Memorial Day weekend.  I have been stitching on Masquerade Storykeep, Lavender Moon and Gardens Like Quilts.  Really not a lot to show this week.  I do have a short video of my baby Robin trying to catch the birds I feed.  She does this off an on all day long.  She is so cute and never realizes these birds are on the other side of the sliding glass door, lol!! :)  I swear she has springs for legs :)
Determined to get these birds, lol

Very Busy Couple of Weeks for me!

Hi and Happy May to all of you!  I have not done much stitching lately.  I have been planting my perennials.  I planted 3 clematis, 2 purple and 1 blue.  I also planted a Sedo Autumn Joy and a Gaura Pink Fountain.  I also planted wildflowers for my hummers and butterflies.  I still have to get my Caladiums started. After my frog visit not once but twice this month I took a break.  Well, since I have no pictures of my stitching I do have to add a pic of my many kitties.  Happy stitching to all of you!
This is my Puss!

More White On The Way!!

Yes, we are do for another snow storm this weekend!  They are saying up to 8 inches with this one.We will see!  I have a frog here today.  Guess the snow doesn't scare him, lol.  Trying to push him out the door at the moment!  Stitching on my Gardens like Quilts and just found I was two stitches off on the blue jay's foot so ripping the foot out right now.
My Cuddles just got home from getting neutured.  I am watching him closely and need to give him doses of morphine twice a day.  He does have a little congestion but the vet has assured me that it was from the traech he had while he was under.  Here is my poor baby....
Happy Stitching!

Cannot Believe It Is Winter!!!!

New Kitten First Caught

It is in the 60 here in Rhode Island!  Cannot believe it is almost Christmas and the weather is just beautiful.  Most of my Christmas shopping is done and I have most of my decorating done.  Now the start of baking my cookies.
Stitching news?  NaDa! Working at the post office is keeping me from that.  I am working 6 days a week from 6 a.m. until 6 p.m.  When I get home I am so tired.  The stitching will have to wait until after Christmas unless I have a easy day which does not look promising.
Sleeping on my daughter
Cat Rescuing?  I have caught another kitten which I have in a taming cage but since he is so easy to train, I do allow him out for play everyday.  Here is a couple of pics of the new feral/tamed kitten.

She is mentally challenged but adorable!  She cannot see well and her abilities are limited.

They are two of my rescued feral turned pets.
I can hold Puss but it is limited on her terms.  Batman, I can pet him constantly but cannot hold him. Batman has come along way though since we couldn't get near him for months.

While I Was Away!!!

Yes I have been away too long!!!  My oldest daughter had a son which she named Jonah.  So adorable!  My daughter Kristina got married and is now due  in December.  She is having a boy.  Tomorrow is my youngest daughter's birthday she will be 18.  So we are having a birthday party tomorrow for her.  It has been quite hectic for the past few months.  No stitching this past month.  But maybe after the party tomorrow I can relax a little before my second grandson is born in November.  When I say no stitching has been done it is but it is such a little amount and not worth showing.  I have worked on Fred so hoping to update this weekend.
Now about my ferals
I think I have stopped the breeding in my area!  No kittens!! No Adults!!!  Awesome!!!!!  I do need to show my two additions to my furfamily.  It is Puss and Boots!  These were feral cats that had three kitten which I tamed to be housecats.  The grey one was adopted out and is named Smokey, who is doing well.  I have decided to keep the other two.  Puss is mentally challanged where I am still working with the vet to see how bad.  Boots is adorable and so affectionate.  Purrs all the time.  Here are the pics of my new additions.
This is Puss

and this is Boots
I love them so dearly!  I am happy that I saved their mom because I know Puss would not have made it living outside. Please spay  your cats especially if you let them outside. Thanks and Happy Stitching to all : )

WOW!! It Has Been Awhile!!!

I know I have not posted in quite awhile!  I have been so busy with work and parties.  I have not stitched at all in July if not because of work then the party planning.  I have had so many partys in June and the past week in July.  I have now to plan for a 18th Birthday party for my daughter the first week of August and a baby shower for my other daughter who is due in November.  We will have her party Sept. 4th.  Since I have no stitching update I am showing you the three feral kittens we have raised and tamed the past 6 weeks.
First is Smoky who was adopted two weeks ago!  Second is my baby female that looks kind of like a Siamese and third is my baby who is a love bug!  He is mine!

Photos and Videos Of My Feral Kittens!!

Finally am able to show some pics and video of my feral kittens!

Here are the new arrivals!  The two white have grey tip ears with grey tails and the one you can't see on the left is all grey!  They are adorable : )  The grey was born on April 19 and the two white were born on the 21st 2011.  Here they are looking around to their new surroundings.  Had to relocate them from under the couch since they are wondering and driving MaMa crazy!

Here they are nursing on MaMa.  Sorry but cant see the grey one.  It is in the middle.

Here is a pic again of them feeding and Krystal another mom on the left who is a fill in MaMA   Since all females in a feral colony help each other out she is her helper for these kittens.

Here is a couple of videos of the kittens playing and nursing!  Hope you are able to see them : )

Well hope to be able to stitch tonight : )  Happy Stitching everyone!

New Kittens!!

Well, no stitching for me at the moment!  My Promise is having a tough time keeping her kittens in her nest Sooooooo  today was moving the nest day!!  Me being happy and Promise totally against it, lol.  She has been trying to move the kittens for the past two hours!  I put them in a room we are not using so they are alone.  Everything including catbox is in there.  Door needs to be shut since I have some very unfriendly males.  It is a big transition so will take some time.  Hopefully will have pics in a day or so of the kittens.  Happy Stitching!

Good REason For Not Posting!

Well, I have been caring for my feral girl Promise who had delivered 4 babies.  The first baby was born on April 17 but died on April 18th.  Promise had two more kittens on the 20th and another on the 21st.  SO she had a little of a problem with the deliveries of these kittens.  I was by her side as much as I could be and if not me my daughter helped out.  She now has three kittens that seem to be growing aand also are very healthy.  I would love to show pictures of them but at the moment with the location of where she delivered them it is way too dark.  She has had a white one with one black little spot on its belly, a grey one just like mom who is all grey and another white one with as far as I see a little grey spot on its ear.  Will post pics as soon as mama lets me : )  Here is a pic of Promise and she is a very caring Mom for her first litter.  SHe will be spayed as soon as she is done nursing these kittens.
Hopefully after Easter I maybe able to find some time for stitching in between work and taking care of Promise and her kittens.  I have other cats so until the kittens are old enough we watch them 24/7.
Happy stitching all and have a very Happy Easter!

Happily Stitching Again!!!

I am now stitching away on Fred!  Had a few snags on two of my wips but I think all is well now.  Will have progress pics really soon : )  Weather here today was not bad!!!  mid 40s snow is just about gone and hopefuly done until next winter!  Since nothing new to show stitching will show a random sweet pic of my kitties : )
Here is Ashes and Mooshi, both are feral kitties I saved from the crazy outside world lol.  Both of them are now tamed and will be nutured within the next couple of weeks.  I find that this colony is so close knit and very protective.  They are adorable!!!

No Stitching Blog Tonight!

Yeah, I have been slacking the past three nights.  After the ripping on Fred and now a mistake on Lavender!  At least I caught it early, only eight stitches need to be ripped.  I just cant get rid of this frog!  After work tomorrow I am kicking this frog to the curb, LOL
How is everyone else doing with there stitching any frog visits : )
Since no update on stitching will post some pics of my other hobby.  My cat rescue! Yeah!  I am a avid cat rescuer and have rescued and neutured over 8 cats this year.  Please, if you are letting your kitty outside make sure he/she is neutured.  I have a munchkin in my cat family.  Small, adorable with short legs, this is not a stray!  This is a pedigree kitty and was left to roam.  Well, she is safe with me and in two weeks will be spayed.

Happy New Years!!!!!!

Want to wish all a very Happy New year!!!!!  I had a New Year present this morning!  I trapped another feral kitten in my trap this morning.  Looks to be about 6 weeks old.  She came in because of the Blizzard we had.  She is now in my house staying warm and totally full with warm food.  She is staying until taken by rescue to be spayed and released unless I say otherwise.  She is so cute and I will try to adopt her out.  WIll post a pic in a few days.  She is so adorable!

Not Much Stitching Done Again This Week!

I have been taming two feral kittens and they are finally out of the taming cage and are totally tamed.  They are both males and ready to be adopted!  They are so adorable with the loudest purr!  We have decided to keep the little female runt.  I have done more on the Halloween Towel and will post progress later.  But I do have a pic of the feral kittens to show you.  When I first took them in they were hissing, cowaring and trying to bite.  But just look at them now, so sweet!

The one in the front is now adopted by us!  Aren't they sooo cute!  Would love to keep them all but that is not possible!
I should be able to stitch more this week since I am done taming these two kittens.
Happy stitching everyone!
